Seagrave Vinyl Sealer is formulated for spraying a level surface in preparation for nitrocellulose topcoats. It has a higher solids content for a faster finish build. This is the familiar Lawrence-McFadden formula, compatible with Seagrave/McFadden Nitrocellulose Spraying Lacquer.

Lacquer products are flammable! They cannot be shipped outside the USA, nor shipped by air within the USA. Nitrocellulose lacquer products should not be used with acrylic lacquers.

More thoughts

Edit: At first I did not care for this product but after a gallon,I am starting to see that it works chemically well with a shellac ground and Seagraves top coat. Does seem to make a hard finial finish. So I like to update the stars.

Not recommended

Very thin, telegraphs,runs, even smell odd. However Seagraves top coat is excellent.

Vinyl sealer is magic!
