Lawrence-McFadden Grain Filler
Lawrence-McFadden Grain Filler is formulated for filling the pores of open-grained woods such as mahogany, ash, walnut, koa and rosewood. Luthiers use it to easily achieve a smooth level surface for applying a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. It's available in clear plus three traditional guitar colors, to give you more options for grain enhancement and a beautifully finished instrument. 1 pint.

Lawrence-McFadden Grain Filler is compatible with Lawrence-McFadden Nitrocellulose Spraying Lacquer and Lawrence-McFadden Vinyl Sealer. Not for use under waterbase finishes.
Rub the filler into the wood grain, let it set for a few minutes, and remove the excess with a Grain Filler Spreader. Sealer and nitrocellulose lacquer coats can be applied after 24 hours drying time.
Note: Clear filler doesn't appear transparent in the can.
Tip: Before applying a colored filler on bare wood, spray a sealer coat if you want the color only in the grain pores.
Lacquer products are flammable! They cannot be shipped outside the USA, nor shipped by air within the USA. Nitrocellulose lacquer products should not be used with acrylic lacquers.
