The Guitar Hanger

Good idea just needs some better adaptability. Eg the hook length could be telescopic to allow hanging from dado rail etc. Width of jaws could be variable to take Mandolins, Uku's etc, Im running out of instrument storage in the house and need to take to the walls!

1) Need to be able to set angle for display instead of only looking at edge.
2) Make it so you can keep the hook pointed up so you can hang the hook on a tall structure without needing a ladder
3) Make it so there is a way to retain the cradle part in place (again for hanging the guitar on a higher location).

I would order 2 dozen of these for my shop and rate 5 stars when improvements are made to make then more useful

The pros: 1)Gets guitars out of view of everyone unless you want them to see them. 2)Can keep all your guitars in one place out of the case in a humidified room but still have easy access.
3)Good way to Hide your collection

CON: 1)All guitars do not hang the same so it is not a way to DISPLAY your guitars. Some hang at a bit of an angle and if you have them too close to each other, will bang into each other taking guitars in and out. 2)Hanger is just a bit too big for a Telecaster Headstock My teles eventually end up resting on the low E tuning key which I DO NOT LIKE.

All in all these are a very cool design. I found that as much as I'd like to keep my guitars on display it is not always wise to do so. Now I have created a "SAFE" area to keep my guitars. Humidified and out of sight out of mind sort of thing. All In all I am very pleased with my purchase.

After trying this out, I'm amazed that someone didn't come up with this years ago. If you don't need to wear those suits anymore, you can store a mini collection in your closet.
