ColorTone® concentrated liquid stains are lightfast metal-complex dyes. You can mix them for almost any desired intensity, with very little stain required. One 2-ounce bottle makes two quarts of stain at normal concentration. Because they're liquids, they can be measured precisely for close color matching.

I really dig the finishing products, especially the ColorTone Concentrated Liquid Stain. I was finishing a maple flame top on an SG and I tell you what, used as a stain this stuff rocks, goes a long way too. Still gotta do the lacquer, but the flametop is unbelievable...I was using some of Dan Erlewine's clear finish technique, with a transparent red...thanks for the excellent service! | | | Amanda Smith
