The only system designed for instrument finishing!
More room to polish larger guitars: 36"-long arbor shaft and specially-shaped cast housing for increased clearance.
Larger polishing surface: Bigger buffing wheels, chosen especially for instrument finishing.
The right speed for a beautiful finish: powerful 1725-rpm motor with our matched pulley and belt delivers a slow 780-rpm buff speed, ideal for buffing delicate instrument finishes.
Everything you need to get started: Buffing compounds and instructions are included with the outfit.
“Other buffers don't give you enough room to move the instrument, or they run so fast they burn off the finish you are trying to polish. So our guitar builders and tool designers here at StewMac sat down and talked about what we wanted in a buffer, and what we want to avoid. No other company has designed a buffing arbor system so specific for luthiers needs.”
