Heat Shrink Tubing

I like my control cavities to be neat and clean. On the rare occasion when I have to splice two wires I always use this to cover the splice. But unless you have a steadier hand than I do, don't use your solder tip to heat it up. Instead, protect the area around it with some aluminum foil and use a hair dryer or a mini heat gun.

One thing that looks like crap or what looks like someone did not know what they where doing is to find electrical tape in the electronics cavity of a guitar.
