Convenient thumbwheel volume control
Schatten Artist II Preamp Plus 1
Schatten's integrated preamp/endpin jack works great with virtually any piezo transducer, or combination of piezo transducer and magnetic pickup. Best of all, it can be powered by an onboard 9-volt battery, or optionally from any phantom power source such as a mixer/PA (battery and cable not included).

The Artist II Preamp Plus 1 is prewired with a convenient thumbwheel volume control. Less than 3/16" thick, this low-profile control can be mounted unobtrusively with supplied foam tape beneath an archtop guitar pickguard, or at the edge of an acoustic guitar soundhole. Maximum gain levels for each channel can be adjusted with trim pots inside the preamp. Illustrated instructions are included.
Also supplied are a prewired connector for 9-volt battery, and a handy self-adhesive nylon mesh battery bag.
