250K vs. 500K
Generally, 500K-ohm pots are used with humbuckers and 250Ks are used with single-coil pickups. 25K pots are used for active systems.

You can use any value you like, but a 250K will give a slightly warmer tone than a 500K pot. The 250K pot bleeds off some of the high frequencies to ground. A 1 Meg-ohm pot bleeds off even less than a 500K pot, so if you want to hear your guitar "wide open" you may want to try one.

1-meg pots are also ideal for piezo pickups, as the ultra high impedance piezo element is more adversely effected by conventional, lower-value pots than magnetic pickups.

We also have a full line of control pots for non-active circuitry. Extra mounting nuts and lock washers are also available.

Smooth operators...

I'm really satisfied with these p-p pots. Only 2 words to define them: smooth operation! I have 1 500k and 2 250k on my "Strat" type, H-S-S pick-ups.
You must be methodical with soldering job, or it will be difficult to solder on the pot tips, under the switch.

Using Push-Pull pots to add more tonal colors

I have used these push-pull pots in a number of my guitars together with the Super switch to add "Gibson" style pickup combinations to a Strat or Tele.
Further, in 2-pickup mode you can simulate the use of the dual volume controls to get all of one and some of the other.

Push-pull Pots

I recently bought a couple of these to use in a project Les Paul style guitar.
They are excellent quality, and suit my purpose well.
Very good price. Very good value for money. Recommended.

I always like some good pots

Good pots, the same as I can get from Mouser, Antique or any other electronics supplier, I believe they are actually made by Alpha... one thing however, watch it in using these with skinny guitars like Gibson Firebirds or SG's, the pots are a bit deep and you will have to compensate for the lack of thickness in these guitars.

quality pots, slick switch

Pots work great. Perfect for coil splitting, tone cap switching, or any other stealth switching you can imagine

Good Quality

I would consider these as good quality standard pots. I have used several of them without any problems and they seem to hold up pretty well.

Exellent...that´s it

Push-pull pots are usefull but not to be found in every music store.
The quality of these products is comparable to that of EMG originals.

Push Pull Pots

These pots are always used in guitars that I modify. Sturdy and simple to wire. Another reviewer said that once you push pull, you never go back. I agree.

Holds up just fine

I went with these push pulls to save some money over more expensive name brand ones, and I lucked out. It takes abuse in stride and still works just fine. I have mine set up to be a coil splitter, and it gets turned off before some pretty crazy parts in a song, so I don't have time to gently push it in, it usually gets fist mashed back in. I've been using mine for about a year now and it still works great.
