Bobbin Flatwork Material

Milled, drilled and tapped flawlessly! Was just what I needed to make cigar box bobbins and custom winds.

I've been using the .094". Easy to trim and drill. Makes a nice old school bobbin. I'm glad Stewmac carries this and will buy it repeatedly.

I've used this flatwork material for 6 Jazz Bass style pickup bobbins. It's easy to cut and keeps its shape nicely. The sheets are rather small, but otherwise it's a great product.

I use a lot of this fiberboard, especially the .094 for bobbin flatwork pieces for Charlie Christian style pickups I make. I cut and shape the fiberboard using hand tools, but it is pretty easy to work with. Great product.

its a little curved, which makes cutting it a little tricky. But once its cut to correct size, it does what its meant to do. You can also file the edges easily if you need to.
