Bobbin Flatwork Material

Making a pickup for a 7-string guitar, a pedal steel, or a mandolin? Custom-build single-coil pickups for any number of strings or string spacings you need, with our black vulcanized-fiber flatwork material. The .094" thickness is used for the bottom of the bobbin; the .062" material is for the top (and for the bottom of a Tele^® neck pickup bobbin).

not perfectly flat...

its a little curved, which makes cutting it a little tricky. But once its cut to correct size, it does what its meant to do. You can also file the edges easily if you need to.
