Introducing the HOT versions of our classic Golden Age Humbuckers! These models have the same vintage construction and Alnico 5 magnets, but are overwound with AWG43 coil wire to 12K ohms for higher output, powerful midrange and driving tone. The coils are wound on black bobbins, fabric-taped, mounted on a brass baseplate and wax-potted for microphonic suppression.
2-conductor plus ground output wire, for dual or single-coil output. 12K ohms. Bridge model polepieces have 2.015" spread; neck models have 1.925" spread.Mounting screws, springs and wiring diagrams included.
Inspired by great guitar pickups of the 50s!
Alnico 5 magnets (aluminum/nickel/cobalt) as used in the originals, for warm classic tone.
Vintage dimensions for easy installation in standard pickguards and bodies.
Wax-potted for microphonic suppression.

I just wanted to comment on the Golden Age humbucker pickups that I just purchased from your company. I am so pleased and impressed with the tonal quality — and for under $50 a pickup!!! I installed them in my 2002 Gibson Les Paul Standard, and I am now getting the tone I was looking for. |
