Fishman Matrix Infinity System

I have fitted quite a lot of these pickups in recent years & find they sound great & are a good option for customers that don't like to have a hole cut in to the side of their guitars .

Installation was super easy, and after a little troubleshooting (Note to self: wiring it backwards makes it hum), works well. The sound is amazing. My only complaint is the weak velcro (sticky-back) for the battery bag. Even following instructions, the bag came loose. Not a huge deal though.

I've installed a few of these and it has always been a smooth-process installing and the tone is very-natural. I have not been disappointed.

I always suggest this model to anyone looking to add a pickup.

I build and repair stringed instruments and have installed quite a few of these pickup systems. The sound quality, tone and adjustability make the customers happy. They are also easy to install - in less than an hour - including drilling the hole in the end pin block. The volume and tone control mounting is not good - the adhesive will not stick to wood - so plan on using a dab of 5 minute epoxy if you dont want the customer to come back disappointed. Also switching it to the alternate snap in bracket for classical installations is rediculous. Good system - but bad engineering for the tone and volume module.

I added one of these as an aftermarket installation to a Breedlove Atlas AD20-SR/Plus. This was a match made in heaven. I've been playing acoustic guitars with after market pickups for almost 40 years and have used Barcus-Berry, DiMarzio, DeArmond, Mighty-Mites, and Dean Markley after market pick-ups. This is better than any of them. This is the first undersaddle or underbridge pickup I've ever had that did not have the piezo "quack." I am planning to have the Mighty-Mite pickup in my Yamaha 12-string removed and replace it with one of these.

I am so impressed with this pickup system, I have installed it in all my guitars, (taylor Martin Fylde & Furch).

Good product but not easy to get consistent levels across the bridge.

Great acoustic sound reproduction. I've used Fishman products on all types of acoustic instruments. For the price, no one is better.
