Golden Age Pickup for P-Bass

Everything worked just fine. First time wiring and solder job went great. Thanks for the D-I-Y directions. The instrument looks and sounds great with the two pickups in line under one string. One of a kind. It is made from a Hawaiian O'O Stick. Check it out.

The Golden Age bass pickup transformed my Squire P bass. It has great clarity and attack. It also has just the right amount of output at 10.5 ohms so when it's pushed hard you'll get a nice little growl out of it. I can't say enough about this pickup. Thumbs up to Stew Mac ! I highly recommend this pickup for anyone building a bass or someone to upgrade there existing pickup. My friends in the band think my bass sounds amazing and it does. Thanks Stew Mac Bravo.

Have been waiting for a bass counterpart to the Golden Age pickups. Just tried this pickup out for the first time and it sounds amazing, all i can say. Love it

My buddy gave up on his P Bass and parked it with a dud pickup. I put in a golden age for for virtually peanuts and it blew both of us away. He literally couldn't believe the value for money. I could!--Been there- done that. thanks

I recently purchased a set of the Golden Age P-Bass pickups for a bass guitar restoration project I have been working on. The pickups are very good and definitely worth the price paid.

I've tried the split-P bass pickup.
Moderate output, not well defined sound referring all the frequencies (bass, mid-high). I'm sure that I'll not purchase another one.

I purchased a Golden Age P-bass pickup because Stew Mac was out of the pickup I normally used for projects. I took a chance, and my reaction...WOW! These pickups are warm, and have great vintage tone and are affordable. They are now my first choice for replacement pickups and will be used for my next custom project. They are superior to all those MIJ, MIM Fender pickups. If you're looking for great warm, fat, vintage tone, this is your pickup!

I've used Golden Age pickups on my guitars before and have always been happy. I have a cherry 2006 Fender USA P-bass . So I put some Golden Age in it and have never been more happy. Compared with other P-basses at the Guitar Center and to me sounds better then some of the originals. My 2000 bass has a real vintage sound I just love it. The best money I've ever spent. Somebody had put Bartolini's in it and they weren't my thing. The Stew Macs blew them away.
