Pre-wired Pickguard Assembly

one word.....perfect

I got the black pickguard with 3 pickups and 5 way switch, and it works BEAUTIFUL!

for this price, can't said to bad thinks... Just that pickgard is far from finish of originals, and than screw hole where not alls align to guitar's body holes... for the electronic stuff, nothing wrong ! So if you buy it for a fine strat, take an aditional pickgard to replace this one ;-)

Put this in a Squier strat. the holes lined up,but I had to sand the neck and trem cuts in order to make it fit. The pickups sound great, and the electronics were solid. I wish an output jack was supplied- I expected one would be included then had to scrounge around for one.

I didn't believe the sound this pickups deliver based on the price. Even with all the good reviews.

I purchased the pre-wired pickguard to save me time, (and money) for the re-build I'm doing for my old strat. I could not be happier, goods came in about a week, now its loaded, and looks great. I will definitely be coming back to Stew-Mac for any other projects I've got.

I had reservations about buying this, but not now. This not only looks good, but sounds excellent,requiring zero adjustment,it went straight in. I'm really impressed.

I have no idea where the pick-ups come from. But for this price I guess does it really matter? They make strat noises and work fine in my Squier until I decide whether or not to invest in "real" pups.
Otherwise very good thing here. I was given an older Korean Strat where the switch and pots and wires were all shot, and this thing saved me a lot of work. I had to redrill one or two screw holes, but overall it was a breeze. Nice.

I recently bought a cheap chinese strat copy to practice on and kick around. About 2 months later, the electronics started to act up (no sound, shorting, etc) so I decided on a pre-wired to replace the junk. After a little dremel work, re-drilling and soldering the strat copy was ready to go. Plugged in and powered up and was amazed at the difference. The copy now sounds as close to the real thing even better than the MIM or MIJ models available now.

I recently purchased a wired pickguard from Stewmac and I must say I am well pleased with the product. I picked up an old Strat style guitar for just a few bucks and wanted to make it a project guitar. I got the parts I needed last week from Stewmac and put everything together and tuned her up. It sounded great. Saturday night I played that old guitar in the band and everyone commented on how wonderful the old guitar sounded with the new Stewmac wired pickguard.
