This is the second purchase I have made of creme colored parts that are slightly orange when they arrive. It would cost more to send them back than to toss them in the trash. I have had no problem with other items.
Very satisfied with the universal knobs. Ordered to fit CTS fine-knurled shaft pots I was using on a rebuild and they fit tightly and look fantastic. Some individual adjustment of the split gap of the pot shaft (gently pried it open wider with a flathead screwdriver) was necessary for a tight fit.
These knobs work and look fine as advertized BUT, they do not perfectly match standard USA American made Strats. The color of white it too white. They need to make one in parchment to get that off-white look. The cream doesn't come close to being enough choice for a color match. The writing on the knobs also do not match your original controls either. The lettering is larger and closer together than originals. The numbers are also different in size and look in comparing various ones that you may have. If you look closely at the numbering - specifically the "2" & "7" numbers, you will be able to see a difference in size & font. (these numbers are the easiest ones to be able to compare varous knobs with for perfect matches) If you're not anal about this nor a perfectionist, then these will do fine. If so, search for originals or replace all of the knobs at the same time so that they will at least all match each other.
