Battery Box for Solidbody
|

Refer to the mounting hole dimensions at right, and rout a hole in a solidbody guitar. Drill a hole for the battery box wires, from the guitar's control cavity to the box cavity. Using the battery box casing as a template, drill pilot holes for the mounting screws.
Installation Route the battery box wires into the guitar's control cavity, and screw the battery box casing into the guitar. Note that pins on the swiveling battery compartment snap into holes in the battery box casing. Trim and solder the wires into the guitar's control circuit. Install a 9-volt battery by following the steps shown below.
