The peghead-mounted steel retainer bar assures proper string angle behind a locking nut. This is important for "plank-style" (non-angled) pegheads, such as Fender. This is the same retainer bar supplied with the Golden Age Double-Locking Tremolo. Black Phillips mounting screws included.

Great fit!

I like black hardware, and Lakland 5-string basses use this same string retainer bar. I ordered this after checking the dimensions on the StewMac site and it's a perfect fit!
