My original Cort Stratocaster copy had only three springs which is the reason it sounded so wimpy. Replaced the orignal strings with these new ones and transformed it into a real tone machine. Sound is now unreal and out of this world. Maybe I will try using five springs just like Clapton.
Used these on my Fender Stratocaster and my Jackson Dinky's Floyd Rose and they work well.
