Top-Loading Hardtail Bridge

Surprised at the quality of this bridge, especially at this price. Superficially looks like one of the cheaper topload bridges I bought recently, but is of far better quality and more robust. Would be nice if it also came in a narrower string spacing. This is replacing a 475 Schaller, which is a nice bridge but the string angle is too low.

As previous reviewers suggested, make sure you allow for enough room for the end-balls underneath the holes in the bridge. Probably need about 1/4" to make sure you have some room to get the strings on and off.
Mounted the bridge and did a pre-fit on my firt project guitar. Still need to do some fine-tuning, but I think that is the case with any bridge. For the price, this hardware is very solid and well made.

This bridge works great for a bolt on neck surrogate body.

OK, there are probably better bridges around, but I once used this bridge attracted by its low price for a cheap and fast project and the result was fine! This bridge does its job.
You need to do some routing under the bridge in order to accommodate the end balls of the string but it's a nice and good working design.
