Tune-o-matic detail Bridge & Tailpiece Measurements
String spread is the distance between the centers of the outer strings on a bridge or tailpiece.

Saddle radius determines the arc formed by all the individual saddle heights, and is similar to the measurement of a fretboard.

Post spacing is the distance between the centers of the mounting posts of a bridge or 'stop' tailpiece.

Don't waste time with anything less!

The "best bang for the buck" LP-style TOM on the market in my opinion. Don't waste you're time using anything "less".
Perhaps the only thing better is the Tone Pros locking model but check out the price difference ... substantial!
Let's just hope Gotoh doesn't realize how superior their product is and raise their prices!

I only wish that StewMac would carry the black version of this product.

Great Bridge!!!

Purchased one for my Agile Valkyrie (SG Type) and was floored by the quality of this bridge vs the stock one. Gone are the rattles I could feel the string vibration thru the body more. Brightened the tone just a bit. Fantastic!!!

Huge Improvement

I put this bridge on a used Chinese Epiphone Les Paul Studio model guitar. I could hear the difference in tone immediately, even before turning the amp on. The tone has brightened and the sustain greatly improved. Through the amp, it sounds like a different instrument, with a more focused sound, more like its American ancestor. Big benefit from a small investment. Highly recommended!

Superior to stock bridge

Solid. Much higher quality than my stock Epiphone TOM bridge. Fixed my intonation issues and brightened my guitar's tone slightly. Definitely worth the money.

Gotoh Tune-o-matic bridge -- yes!

I ordered one of these for my Epiphone goldtop Les Paul with P90s. The stock bridge design did not firmly secure the saddle screws to the body of the bridge, causing some buzzing and poor vibration transmission to the guitar body. The Gotoh solved these problems, and gave me greater intonation adjustment to boot! All at a great price. I liked it so much that I bought a small stud model of this Gotoh for my '61 Les Paul SG Standard. The Gotoh perked it up too. I strongly recommend this bridge.
