Hipshot Supertone Bass Bridge

I got this and had it installed in 30 minutes. It was a perfect fit for my Epiphone Thunderbird IV. It now has much more sustain and punch and intonation can be set better than the stock bridge. It also doesn't cause the string windings or the cloth coveings over the ends to rest on the saddle - way better! Can't say enough about this bridge.

I ordered the 3-point supertone bridge for my 1994 Gibson Thuderbird bass.I ordered it on a Friday and got it on Monday.That's what I call fast sevice!It sounds much better than the original bridge which left alot to be desired. Much more tone and sustain and ease of adjustments.It's like a whole new bass.All I can say is GET IT!

I picked up an old late 70s Penco bass in excellent condition for $50 which is a very close replica of an actual Gibson SG style bass. The main problem was the cheapo bridge on it. I needed a replacement and I chose the Hipshot Supertone Bass Brigde.

It changed this instrument from an old cheapo to a very good playing bass that I use in recording. This bridge is very well made and has great adjustment capabilities.

There are many people who have a less than stellar view of the Gibson 3 point bridge. This solves the problems on solid body basses. A considerable improvement in setup and intonation capability. Adequate distance so you are not trying to intonate a string with silks on the saddle.
