Hipshot 4-String Bass Bridge

A locating template should be included with this bridge. That would make it a 5 star product. That said, I installed this bridge on my Peavey Fury. It is a great bridge. It would be a nice upgrade even on several models of "Professional" instruments. The lateral adjustments make it easy to align your strings with the pole pieces of the pickup. Great sound, excellent ability to adjust height and intonation

Anything I buy, that's bass related, I always do research and I always read reviews, but I don't like writing them until now. This bridge is one of the simplest and easiest ways to improve the tone quality coming from your instrument. It adds noticeable sustain, but it also adds a discernable definition to your slap and pop tone. Most bass players who are learning, strive to get their bass to sound like Marcus Miller's, even if they are years from playing like him. Well this bridge is a step in that direction. 4 years ago, I bought my 1st bass--a inexpensive squier. Over the past couple of years I changed the bridge to a gotoh 201, I put dimarzio ultra jazz pu's in them, and even upgraded amps, but I was still missing that snappy, punchy slap tone. Not any more. So if you have an inexpensive bass that you want to upgrade, before you start shelling out big bucks on accessories, buy this first.

I was nervous about getting this for my main bass but after installing I am glad I did. The abilities of this bridge are phenomenal. Being able to not only adjust string height/intonation but the string spacing allowed me to love my bass even more. It changed the overall appearance as well, from a generic to something a bit better.
