These machined solid brass bridges reflect Hipshot's typically impressive workmanship and innovative design. The channeled baseplate prevents lateral saddle movement, a great idea that helps keep your bass in tune. Along with precise intonation and height adjustment, each saddle can be adjusted over 1/16" from side-to-side for variable string spacing—a nice touch for adapting comfortably to a variety of neck widths. Strings can be mounted from the top or through the body, another versatile feature.
FM1 4-string retrofit version: specifically modified to fit Fender basses that have five mounting holes with .690" spacing. Installs without redrilling! Strings mount directly on the bridge.
