Tune-o-matic Bridge For Archtop Guitar

I bought two of these in gold..one for my Epi Joe Pass and the other for my Epi Emperor Regent.The main reason was because I put an ebony tailpiece on the Emperor(also from Stew) and it was the only way to ground the strings. But it also looks great and it makes for exact intonation. I wish Stew would have had an ebony base for them , but I stained them with the ebony fingerboard stain. My guitars look and sound beautiful thanks to Stew.

Quality product. Pleanty of room for sanding to fit my archtop hollow body.

I put this bridge on a gretsch 5120 for a friend. This item is much better than the bridge that came with the guitar. He had a rattelig noise from the old one. The noise is gone, the guitar has a better tone and my freind is happy. All at a pretty good price. What more can you ask for?

As usual a great product from Stewmac, used it on an Epiphone Emperor, my client took me on the road for a festival in México city, changed it in less than 30 minutes (the old bridge was way too damaged) a little filing on the 6th and 5th saddles and the guitar was ready to go! intonation adjustment improved and he played a great show!

Rebuilt an Aria 5102T and desperately needed a decent archtop bridge to complete the job.
This turned out to be a beautiful match for the guitar.

I love using these when perfect intonation is required. They look great, and the metal bridge adds a nice bite. The base can be recarved or shaved to any height required.

As did another reviewer, I got this for my Epiphone Emperor II Joe Pass model. The metal part fit right over the existing base, so I did not have to use the supplied base (which was not carved to fit nor finished to match the guitar's other trim). I had to deepen the notch for the low E string with a small file, but other than that there were no installation problems and no playability problems. Tip: Be sure to mark the position of your current bridge on the guitar top before replacement, since you'll have to remove all strings (and the bridge will fall off).

put this bridge on an old hollow body es335 style guitar ive had for years. wouldnt stay in tune. been sitting in my closet for about 15 years all apart. found this bridge at stewmac and rebuilt it now it plays sweet
