Helps prevent bridge plate damage Quick fix for a worn bridge plate Installed beneath an acoustic guitar bridge plate, the Plate Mate guards against the eventual wear caused by ball-end strings. This simple .032" brass plate is held in place by the strings and a thin adhesive backing, and can help prevent costly bridge plate replacement and repairs.
