This book is OK, but not all instruments are covered.

    OK, but hardly complete

There's a lot of great info in this book but it is not a complete listing. I estimate that 30% of the vintage guitars I try to price are not listed. Prices that are listed are a bit high for today's price suppressed market and reflect more "asking" than "selling" prices. That said, it is a must-have book for any serious collector or dealer, just don't use it for your sole price info source.

Why are MY guitars never in there

I know, it's impossible to make an even remotely complete vintage guitar price guide. But how do they manage to always fail on listing the instruments I am looking for?

    2010 Price Guide

This price guide covers guitars of all varieties, amps and even pedals. Loaded with photo's. Good history is provided on many famous (infamous) amps & guitars. In some cases, certain collectibles-Teisco is one example- could use more pictures or more thorough descriptions to help I/D a product. All in all a fun coffee table book.
