Indispensable

Super livre qui nous explique très bien comment fonctionne les amplis. Un gros pavé un peu fastidieux à lire (besoin d'un traducteur de temps en temps) mais qui reste vraiment intéressant.

The Tube Amp Book

Pleasantly surprised at the range and coverage. It has all the main Brit circuits as well (Like the old Sound City models - but not my 200's!) Unique phase inverters modified longtail. The Orange early models with their switch selected series caps in the signal path! (That was unexpected as Orange are now very determined NOT to release any circuit details even on an amp I've just bought!) A VERY useful information source!

Masterful, but needs another update.

This is a great book for those who love amplifiers. It covers the beloved makes and models of many manufacturers and faves of many of us amp lovers. However, the book could use an update to bring it up to speed with many of the latest additions and surprises from builders (PRS, for example).

Eye candy for old tube fans

This is an excellent "coffee table" book. Great illustrations, readable text. I just like the drool factor. The Schematics many be useful but they are just a bonus. Must have for those who love old amps.
