Australian Blackwood (Acacia melanoxylon) is a close relative of Koa, with a light brown color and excellent grain figure. It produces a warm tone, similar to mahogany. Thickness-sanded to 0.150" (3.18mm), this set is sized for bandsawing a 7" x 10" (178mm x 254mm) ukulele back. Each unbent side measures approximately 14-1/2" x 2-3/4" (368mm x 70mm). Top wood is not included.
