Sides are a bookmatched set of two, unprofiled (rectangular) and unbent. Thickness sanded to 0.095"-0.100". Each classical side is approximately 4-1/4" x 32".

A back is a set of two bookmatched halves, for joining and profiling. Thickness sanded to 0.115"-0.120". Each classical back half is approximately 8" x 21".

Our back/side sets are matched for color and grain.

Awesome!!

Wow, i was impressed with the rosewood... very nice, the grains gives a great look and seems very stable. The grading was exactly what i hoped for. I order grade AAA east indian rosewood and i was quite happy with the product. I will order some more eventually!

Easy to work with

Good color, just the right thickness and well finished so that I only need to work on one side. As I thickness by hand, there is not so much waste.

Nice wood

Very good quality. Nicely book matched. Bent beautifully straight out the box!! Having a cupboard full of rosewood backs, it’s great that Stewmac sell sides and backs separately.
