I repaied and 1820 David W. HOPF which had about 50 cracks in it-- it really had a hard life in 200 years. The patch's closely resembled the orginal wood, and now it looks great and still has that wonderful full HOPF sound!
Perfect for an "oops" or an "OMGIDESTROYEDIT!" Hopefully more of the former than the latter.
