easy

It's a great price considering all the work and material it takes to make one.. only complaint would have to be the nut.. there was about 2mm of glue under the nut which was too high.. after chiseling the glue off it was the right height.. wished there was some wood between the truss rod's adjustable nut and the nut too.

great neck.

great neck. nice fretjob. and i love the fretboard. i bought one. to make a lefty doublecut neck throug body guitar.. I've used the guitar for most of my gigs during the last year or so. and I'm very satisfied. I actually like that the heel starts that early. because I'm free to customise the joint to a bigger degree. wish they'd make it with a gibson scale lenght and rw fretboard though

Left handed Use

I am using the through-neck on a guitar building school project. I found that I could adapt it for left handed use easily. I also found the adaption for a Les Paul bridge setup not too difficult. Summary- excellent neck

Well made, but.....

The fret work on this neck is high quality, but I concur with Kik on the heel beginning at the 16th fret. I will have to rework it so that the entire fingerboard is accessible. A 2-2 1/2 inch thickness would make it easier to form an angle between the neck and body. The day of the flat guitar is long gone. Good neck, work required.

very good but...

Very good quality neck, sturdy. But don't understand why the heel begins down at the 16th fret... I mean it's a two octave kind of neck, isn't?

Excellent Product

Very well made and very stable neck. Found it to be exactly as advertised. Two years of constant use and this neck is straight and true.

Neck Through Construction

The neck through construction is a quality piece that allows me to make my own custom design headstock that is the standing mark of my custom electric guitars. I rated it only good because I wish they would make it with different degree's of headstock angle. Other than that, the necks are great and I like the double octave scale of 25".
