Routed to fit our necks. Holes for screws and neck bolts are undrilled. Ready for sanding and finishing.
Alder vs. Ash Alder and ash have been used for building solidbody guitars since the 1950s. Alder's subdued grain is often finished in opaque colors. Our Southern swamp ash bodies have a denser bold grain, suitable for clear or tinted finishes. Swamp ash is slightly less dense than Northern "baseball bat" ash.
