Maple fretboard slotted for Fender

I use these for one off guitars. I've used a few to create a 24 inch scale putting a zero fret in the first fret slot and sawing off the remainder. These always seem to seat the fret very well and are very level. I've never had any buzz anywhere on the neck. I'll keep using them and would highly recommend them.

Very good.

I ordered the Rosewood fingerboard for my first project. It is a beautiful piece of wood, and the slots are perfect. There is a bit of planer chip-out behind the second fret, and it may or may not sand out; if I were building a 2,000-3,000 dollar guitar, it would be an issue, but I'm not, and it won't affect the sound or playability so I don't mind. Not perfect, but probably an outlier

Rosewood fingerboard

I installed 2 fretboards so far, both were excellent quality, but I noticed that one chipped more when routing it. But I had a little worn router bit.

Excellent fretboard!

I just finished a new build and for the first time used a pre-slotter, radiused fingerboard. I purchased the rosewood with a 12" radius. It was excellent quality wood and very attractive. There were no blimishes at all, front or back and having it slotted saved me a lot of time and for just over $20 it was more than worth it.

i had some problems

unfortunately the item had a cut near the 12th fret on the surface. this is not a thing that could make it a bad quality product, but this shouldn't happen
