I use these on guitars if I know a customer doesn't change their strings often. These are very durable and can handle a lot of punishment from heavy-handed players. I also like them in double-locking trems since you can stretch them out and they hold their tuning well. There are other strings out there for better tone, but these are a great compromise for a real workhorse!
I'm re-working an old, wrecked Gretsch arch-top. Boomers sound great on it.

The strings are Durable but have a bit of vibration

I have been a Dean Markley fan for many years but recently tried the Boomers just for a change. I played a gig that weekend and also many hours the day before the gig practicing. Being a heavy pitch bender and tremolo user they never went out of tune and no breaks. Excellent product will use again Thanks, Michael James

GHS Boomers have always been reliable. I have tried all the others and these have had defects such as kinks, rust, rough spots and dead or unsteady sound.
