After years of using Rotosound strings on my Fender fretless, I hadn't used GHS for quite some time -- but it's the only brand StewMac carried. Mostly because they're new, they sound a little brighter, but both in terms of tone and playability, I like them just as much as the more expensive brands.
nice for 4strings. bad for 5 & 6 strings bass... stew mac, give life to 5&6 strings bass. i have 5 & 6 here. so sad no strings for them.
Bought with several parts to fix a friends bass and save myself a trip to the store. Wish I would have made the trip. G string feels uneven and the strings have a dull but slightly clanky sound. Diadarrio's or Dunlops are better and slightly less expensive. They're not terrible though and would do in a pinch
As good, or better than any other Bass strings. Great price, and sealed packs for longer life.
