This stuff is amazing, but if you don't want your fingerboard to be 10 shades darker, it's wrong for you. Be sure to wear gloves and let it soak for a minute before wiping away excess. Apply twice a year. I will buy more when this is gone.
I applied this to the rosewood fingerboard and carved rosewood bridge to my archtop. I nicely darkened the overall appearance and created a nice looking luster.
Cheap, smells good, brings rosewood back to life.
Take the time to use this on your unfinished fretboards. If you clean off the fretboard with a little naphtha and apply this product as directed, your fretboard will look as good as new.
Tried this stuff was a bit skeptical if it would work that well, but I was wrong it really can bring the rosewood back to life..
Works good smells better.
I've used ColorTone Lemon Oil on two of my guitars so far. Easy to apply and excellent results. I recommend it without qualification.
I have been using another Lemon Oil since the 70's. It's getting hard to find, and some folks will tell you that it doesn't belong anywhere near a guitar. that aside, I decided to try the ColorTone Lemon Oil and I'm very happy with it. Smells good, too.
