Leaves Deep Scratches
The 300-grit file I received leaves such deep scratches in the frets that:
1. If I polish them out I remove so much material I need to re-level the frets.
2. If I do a "normal" polish, the scratches remain and the wrapped strings buzz in the scratches.
I am very disappointed with this 300-grit diamond fret crowning file.

Soundhole/rosette routing jig
Someone took the time to design this jig to be easy to use and do the job precisely. The only negative I had was with the pin size. It would have been nicer to have been a 1/4" pin like other jigs I have.

Bridge Doctor
I am in the process of building a five course mandocello prototype. I used the Bridge Doctor to allow for very light bracing on a forced contoured light weight cedar top. I am impressed with the support the Bridge Doctor gives to an instrument under the considerable tension of the ten strings I am using for this instrument. I have not yet let the instrument "play in" enough to have a final word on my prototype, but I am quite pleased with the sound quality.

Precision Dremel base
I immediately put the new base to use routing a channel for a center strip on the back of my new guitar and it works like a dream. Very well made and easy to use. I plan on using it for more inlay work and expect the task to be much easier now.

Just want to say thanks!
A must have, the file's teeth is excellent for this job. If you want to control the beveling angle, you can add some layers of the brown tape on the center line of fretboard.

Grover Deluxe Keystone tuners
Grover has always made good tuners in general that's why a lot of Guitar Manufacturers use them albeit under their own name. I bought these Key Stones to make my new resonator look a bit more "funky" as if my guitar were from the 20's. They ended up looking great. They were only better because they were of "modern" manufacture so they felt more solid. They held tune. My only concern will be the test of time; other tuners have a tension screw on the end of the tuner button that allows you to tighten the tension should the tuner gears wear over time. The Keystones don't have that screw. But they are built very solid and I don't expect them to wear or loosen during my life time.

Carbon Fiber Neck Rods
The application was a 1995 American Standard Strat that the truss rod had separated from the anchor at the heel of the neck. I routed out the "skunk stripe", removed the rod and rebuilt from the back using two 1/8"X 3/8" carbon fiber rods on either side of the truss rod. The results are what I expected, a flat finger board with no more adjustment problems. To amplify on another review, I would use a truss rod in addition to the C.F. rods. I don't think the C.F. rods will get the job done alone.

excellent dye
I just started using ColorTone dyes recently, after my old favorite was unavailable. I love these dyes. They are extremely easy to use and the colors are rich. I used the vintage amber on this guitar

Preservation Polish is fantastic!
Bought 7 bottles since 12 ounces of this stuff is cheaper than 6-8 ounces of about anything else. Upon receiving the bottles, I noticed that Preservation Polish has mineral spirits in it. I've since found that, besides giving a haze-free shine, Preservation Polish easily removes sticky adhesive, such as that which is applied to pickguards. The smell is not particularly offensive either, in that it has a faint aroma of glue and vinegar, to my senses. Therefore, the mineral spirits do not overwhelm everything. Is definitely worth every penny. 7 bottles should last me about 2 years.

Don't trust your guitar with just anyone, do it your self!
If you like to fix things, you'll enjoy this.I was worried about installing it at first, however, the instructions are very easy to follow! Made it such a joy to know you can do it your self. And the sound is wonderful! I installed it on a Ovation. The only thing to watch out for is to make sure you don't change the height of the saddle. I suggest you make sure the saddle does not have shims under it or you will have to replace it. The biggest problem is the double sided tape for the battery holder, it needs to be stronger. It gave way about a week latter and fell down. Other then that I love it!

Good Glue
An excellent wood glue. Drying and crystallization is excellent for musical instruments. We must pay close attention to recommendations for damp locations is important, more pressing time.

Excellent
This was a much better pick up than the original one in my Epi Les Paul. The original was flabby, muddy and undefined. This one is clear and has a great tone. I also purchased the hot version for the bridge pick up and they make a great combo.

Excellent for the price
I put a set of these pick-ups in my Epi Les Paul. I have the hot for the bridge and the regular for the neck. I can't believe how the guitar came alive. Excellent buy. I also put and push pull pot into the mix and I have no problem finding the tone I'm looking for.
