Playing my new guitar in the white
These bolts allowed me to secure the bridge and string up my new guitar before finishing. This ensures that any changes required for tone can be done before the finishing. Only problem is, once strung up you don't want to stop playing the guitar.

The right tool for the job
Making my first 6 string guitar and having made the bridge my self I wanted to have the right tool for reaming these very important pin holes. This is the perfect tool for the 5 degree pins. My new bone pins fit perfectly in the reamed holes.

Finally bought it
This had been on my wish list for years so I finally decided to get it. I have a vise like it for my drill press but I did not a way to make the special plates for the jaws. This vise is perfect for the job and of very fine quality.

My new guitar bridge pins
Making my first 6 string I decided that I wanted the best pins available. These are excellent in appearance and fit the tapered holes perfectly. I made the right choice.

Best Lacquer
This is simply the best lacquer on the market. Sprays perfectly, levels well, buffs to a beautiful gloss. Give it 6 weeks to cure to avoid shrinking after rub-out.

Great Pickups!!
I have installed these pickups on two guitars that I have built and they are fantastic! My guitar friends really are impressed with them and the sustain and smooth clear tone that they produce. Thanks!

invaluable tool
This is really great tool - I can hardly imagine how to do the job at the same quality without your drill jig. Big thanks! You have the best luthier's equipment I've discovered on the web globally...

Beautiful and rich
These go on easy and look great. One can is enough for one body and matching headstock, but if you want really deep/dark color use two. I use two because if I need to go back and retouch an area I got it covered.

Good stuff... no complaints.
I bought a strip of the 0.090" width to go on a Les Paul and it has worked as expected so far, no problems. It adhered superbly using the recommended "Weld On #16" cement, is easy to scrape smooth and was plenty long enough to do the face side of the Les Paul body in one strip with about 7 inches spare.

Pickup history
This book is full of interesting historical stuff and would clearly be of great interest to collectors. As a technician, I was a little disappointed that so little attention was given to tech details. Would like to see a text devoted almost entirely to schematics, oscilloscope patterns, flux densities etc. This would be of little use to musicians, I guess, but would be really helpful technical types like me who do the design work.

Pocket Truss Rod Wrench
I just purchased the 1/4" wrench for my RB-250 an it is spot on. It is a wrench which is impossible to source in Australia. Maybe Gibson don't consider we buy enough Master Banjos. Well done guys. Works heaps better than my home made job

Good stuff, but easy to replicate.
I make large amounts of similar lubricant using regular dry graphite lubricant and petroleum jelly. small batches can be made with petroleum jelly and pencil lead. Hard for me to justify the cost per portion of this product.

A work of art
These plans are exactly like described. Very detailed/thorough and they look like a work of art! (Something DaVinci could have drawn :)) I plan on using these plans and the Benedetto book/DVD's to build my first archtop guitar and after I'm done, these plans are going to look great hanging in my office/music room. Thanks StewMac!

QUALITY !!
After buying some finger rests off ebay that turned out to be very poor quality and poor finish, I thought I'd take a chance one more time and I ordered this finger rest from StewMac. Because of my ebay experiences, I was a bit leery of trying again but hey this is a Bob Benedetto product and even though I wasn't really sure how it would look or if it would fit my Archtop guitar, it was designed by a real master archtop builder (unlike the stuff sold on ebay). When the finger rest arrived , I opened the package and was I ever surprised at the QUALITY and finish of this finger rest. First class all the way! It came with all the necessary instructions and parts and all I had to do was customize it by routing it out where my floating pickup meets the neck (easy with the right tools). Instant cool! This is a high quality part that can make any archtop look $1000's richer. I highly recommend this to anyone considering an eye popping improvement to your archtop guitar.

Nice product
I have sprayed several types of lacquers. This is a nice clear coat as far as application and build. It also rubs out very nicely. It is admittedly a bit pricey, but in line with what you would expect if you have to mail order. This lacquer compares very well to the Lawrence-McFadden.

Nice knob
These knobs are nice and solid, unlike others that I have seen. The shell is colorful, nicely finished and adds a nice detail to the guitar.

Works Great
Used this product for the final polish with swirl remover and the guitar looks amazing!. Achieved a very good mirror finish. I used wool for the higher grit compounds. The combination worked great. I would definitely consider getting more of these for other compounds after this test.

Great tuners
These mini tuners have been my top choice for many years. I've used them on most of my guitars. I especially like to couple them with ebony knobs. Just the right size and weight, precise and stable. I must admit though that the walls of the threaded bushing seems to have gone thinner in the last few years. Still, great machine heads.
