Gripper - Yes!
A fine product - helped fix a 5 year problem with a tele neck. Was able to get truss rod nut moving and neck adjusted - overcame nut being frozen and allen threads almost stripped.
Highest recommendation.

3M Flexible polishing papers
I saw a luthier finish a fret job using a series of polishing cloths, obviously well-used from the dust in them. The finishing shine they left on the frets was unbelievable, so I inquired and had to get them for myself. I got the full set of papers, (which are really more cloth-like than paper-like), and cut them into widths slightly wider than a fretboard, numbering them by their progressive coarseness. I just finished a fret job and used them for the first time. They're amazing! In a few minutes time, they leave frets and fingerboard polished to an unbelievable shine. I also used the finer ones to rub out small touch-up areas in the finish, which buff right out to a perfect shine. Glad I got the great tip!

consistency
Stewmac supplies are the benchmark of quality others can only aspire to. These Stewmac nut files are more than up to the task, excellent value, there is no better product if you want the job done correctly.

In Harmony
I recently put a set of these "Relic Nickel" turners on a '60s Harmony Master arch top guitar. The original turners were shot. This set was the closest to the originals that I could find. Now my Harmony will stay in-tune and string adjustments are easy. Nice quality tuners, while keeping the vintage look.

Great quality
These bits are great. I've used them on two different builds so far, two different body woods, a hard wood and a soft wood, cuts both like butter. Couldn't be happier.

No complaints
I have no experience with the CTS or Bourne, so I've got no frame of reference on the quality comparisons made so far. They do seem to work OK, and I haven't noticed any functional difference with the ones they replaced. Although they are much lighter - just not sure whether that translates to durability issues or not. Conditional thumbs up for now.

Exactly what I needed
This kit made my set ups easy. Everything was there. Have used them so far on one of my Strats, my Tele & SG. I can feel the difference.

perfect
I got 16 gold screws (just in case I needed more or lost a few)
the 8 that I needed look amazing!
I suppose at the end of the day, they're just screws, but even so, they do look great!

Good rings
I got a low black and a tall black (and found out I don't need the tall one but oh well)
The rings are sturdy, and look great. That's all I ask so it gets 5 stars.

Pretty awesome
The only complaint I have about this switch is the sheer amount of space it takes up in the control cavity.
I recently installed EMG's in my ESP LTD MH-100 and had to use heat-shrink tubing to keep it from shorting out the tone pot. This wouldn't be the case in a guitar with a large control cavity (like a Les Paul)
This is a beautiful switch though(I got the gold version) and functions extremely well!
Gave it 5 stars because I failed to measure the space before buying it and downgrading the rating due to my own error would not be fair.

WHAT HAPPENED
I purchased the black knobs recently and I can't even fit them on the pots. The last ones I bought,(amber) fit perfectly. So what's up with the black ones.
The picture is the guitar with the amber knobs

Top Doctor
I have been installing these for years. They flatten guitar tops well. My customers like the pearl dot. At least they say they don't mind.It also allows for lighter tops and bracing. Something for builders to consider. cheers

Industrial revolution
Bought the fret saw blade and dedicated an old 50's Detla/Milwaukee table top saw into a dedicated fretting saw. Built a jig for the fingerboard and wow...into the 21st century!

Great Tuners-Great Price
Absolutely solid. Higher gear ratio at a lower price. Can't beat these for value; my first choice for mid-priced instrument builds and repairs.

What took so long?
I got these for my snakehead, and they're a prefect fit. They look right, and don't load extra weight to the peg head. A flat-head, black screw for the drive cog would have made these perfect. I needed these twenty years ago. Why did it take until now to get a worm-under-gear configured replacement? My next wish is for the F-style tuners like this. I wouldn't use anything else if these were available.

Not perfect but consistently good
Bindings I received were consistent in color and grain, well matched. As with any wood binding, there is some short grain in places, but the overall quality is higher than I have gotten from several other suppliers.

Outstanding
Had this installed on my custom Beckwith Strings "Baltimore" during construction. Definitely not my first UB pickup but definitely the best. The power is more than I've seen in any other preamped UB and the sound is totally natural.
I've had no problems with the pot mounting and found it to be very strong. Love the battery mounting: light and easily accessible with no springs or boxes or covers to break/loose. Battery life is long but should be checked (wet tongue to both contacts...feel the buzz!) during string changes. Jack is strong and firm and holds the strap well. Forget other brands with eq, effects and filters. Install this pickup system and do all that at the pa/box/amp.

Your go-to lacquer
Having tried different products over the last decade, I remember what I liked about the ColorTone clear. It cures thin (which is good), hard and gives a great shine in the end. But I agree it's too bad the nozzle doesn't match the quality of the contents.

This is an amazing piece of equipment. I almost purchased a cheaper version of this vise and I am glad I purchased this one. So solid. I saw it's potential even before I closed the jaws for the first time.
