I got it today and with no practice whatsoever I installed all frets for a new guitar in less than 20 minutes. It's fool-proof, accurate and very easy to use. I'll never sit frets without this again.

I recently purchased a kit Double Neck. I purchased Color Tone, Fender Creme, and Clear Coat+Polishing compound. I was amazed at the ease of spray, and all the helpful tips that Stew-Mac gave me. For a first time my guitar turned out almost flawless.

These are amazing tuners, they are a bit ugly but they took an old guitar that had never had any real stability (would regularly stray rather badly within songs) and have transformed into a rock solid monster, even with the addition of a Bigsby afterward.

This 3-DVD set is wonderful, like being at Robinson's bench and looking over his shoulder as he executes simple and elaborate inlays. The information is presented clearly, with Robinson providing valuable commentary that extends beyond mere "how-to" instructions. His dry humor is also included.

Using the info from these DVD's, I was able to execute a script logo inlay into my peghead that belies the fact that this was my first advanced inlay. Many thanks, Larry!

Explaining good sound is like explaining color for someone who's been blind all his life. Which words can you use? All I know is that my new Golden Age pickups separates the sound of each string. The sound is clear and defined. The guitar now has a wide specter of sounds from biting clear to a warm jazzy sound – and everything in between. I have a 2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard, but my Hohner HS35, witch is very well made – except for the pickups, is now right up there with it!

To start to build guitars without Kit - in vain to waste time. Really many tools are not necessary. For those who continues to doubt. Or those at whom else are not present professional tools. For example is not present Go-bar Clamping System. Do not despair! Take my decision on a photo.
Order to itself Kit and have pleasure. You will stick together it even on kitchen!

If you like vintage look in your strat and you wish a better intonation this bridge is a must!!

I used several of the ColorTone products to refinish a Les Paul Custom, and I'm happy with the results. They went on easily, gave good coverage, and dried nice and hard. I'll be using ColorTone more in the future.

These are an invaluable help in the workshop. They take all of the guess work out and let you get to work. Stew Mac you did it again. Fantastic!!!!

I am so pleased with these LP style inlays. Accurate size, look great, plenty of room to work with. Can't wait to put them on the project I'm currently working on. As always Stew Mac is top notch. Thanks for being there for us rookies.

It don't get better than this if you are just learning like me. This is the way to go, pre-slotted, pre-radiused, Beautiful color with enough meat on it to sand to the thickness you want to make it vintage accurate or leave it as is for a thicker fretboard. Great for the novice or the pro. Excellent

"The poor man always pays twice"... I bought Dremel's brand of this at Lowe's and thought I would save a buck or 2 and you should see the hack job the plastic router base did to my nice wood! After I returned it, I decided to buy the Stew Mac Router Base and the first words that come to mind is : ACCURACY....QUALITY....DURABILITY and oh yeah.. PRECISE ENGINEERING! Awesome product - worth every cent!

Good set of plans with great detail.

The only item missing is the shape of the sides prior to bending - included in the Dreadnought and OOO kit plans - you can guess using the dimensions given, but would be really useful to have this to enable tracing directly onto the wood.

This is making my life easier because it is built well!

If you keep'em oiled, and reserved to lightweight jobs, as they're intended to, they'll last a lifetime. I like these saws for nut and saddle work. I can cut gauged notches for each string.
Veneer cutting and straight precision cuts, like neck joints are easily done with these saws.

The fret rocker is a small and useful tool. I see myself using it all the time, and mostly not as a fret tool. As it is made from hard metal, I use it as a leveler, right angle, glue scraper and more. Why not the five star rating: It is a little bit pricey, And has poor magnetic properties:

I tried to use the rocker as a baseplate with rare earth magnets, for bridge repair, but looks like the metal alloy used in the rocker is not that attracted to magnets like plain steel.
