Good quality pot, but hard to solder on the case for the ground wires. Tried several Weller pro soldering station, & different types of solder.

This is an excellent hammer in the right hands. Minimum force is needed to seat new or reseat lifting frets. A word of caution... The brass head can easily damage frets and put dents in the fingerboard unless great care is taken. A few light taps is safer than a forceful hit.

Lots of pictures. But who needs pictures unless you don't have an instrument or bow laying in front of you. Explanations and procedures are minimal at best. An expert wouldn't have any use for this book and a novice wouldn't gain much insight.

Stew Mac is great, period, but everyone knows that! Anyway, this Truss Rod set is great if you have multiple guitars and basses so you have all the options as you know, one truss rod wrench will not do it for all guitars. Definitely worth it - one shot deal. Thanks guys.

One of the most annoying parts about swapping humbuckers is getting the springs back in. This tool saved me from fishing around to see where that spring just popped off to. Thank you!

It's got a strange name, but IT WORKS GREAT. The best cleaner I've used yet.

The only downside to these tuners is that they weren't available 10 or 15 years ago. Everything in its time. I use the Waverly style relic nickel tuners as original equipment on the Roberts Minstrel model. These tuners have that whole vintage vibe in spades. Everything was done right witht these tuners and what a reasonable price for these wonderfully authentic tuners. My compliments to StewMac. I use these on new customs, the Minstrel models and for restorations!

Great for what it is designed for but I use the pull off handle for many other tasks. It powers my home made fret bender, I use it for screwing using hex head screw bits and also hex head drill bits for gentle hand drilling.

Very good results for rounding fret ends, does the job with on a couple of passes.

Even my wife likes this tool, mainly because she hears less bad language comparing to using a hammer. Great tool with a great result each time. Only suggestion would be a knurled screw rather than needing an Allen key as that is just one more thing to lose!

Everything you need in a great design. Why waste your your money on more expensive winders?

If you have never made a uke before or an acoustic guitar this is a great way to work out how all the bits go together. Even though the instructions for the kits are good this helps with the techniques because you see how it is actually done. Well worth the investment.

Have just finished the kit and love the end result, great tone and sound. Prefer this to the tenor uke which I also made. As with other reviewers buy decent strings those supplied with the kit are rubbish. Also replace the friction pegs with better machine heads. Converted the kit to left handed version no problem as nut was generically slotted rather than with different gauge slots.

Have used three of these blanks now and the consistency is great, nice grain patterns and shape. No cupping or twist in any of the pieces even though they have traveled half way round the world.

Bridges are a great product but very disappointed to see Stew Mac continues to ignore Left Handed Guitar players and is closing out this product in left hand config.

I was very happy with the quality and appearance of this grooved tension hoop. And the price was good too. Fast shipping. I give it a 9.

I searched high and low for a tuner that would at least come close to the ones used on old Weissenborns, Konas, Hilos, Knutsens etc. In my opinion these are it and at a reasonable cost.

This tool is helpful when smaller soundholes or thinner bodies prevent my arm and/or hand to access far away braces. Those same limitations make it difficult to attach the provided tightening cable once the clamp is situated. I recommend (and have) taping the cable to the clamp.
Be advised that over torquing will break the cable or undo the button.
It also would be nice if the cable was a just a few inches longer.......

Your reproduction banjo parts are are most helpful. I rebuild a lot of antique banjos from the turn of the last century. Your parts have saved me a lot of time and expense. They are very close to the originals. I just finished a 1902 A.C.Fairbanks Whyte Laydie #7, your flat hooks are identical.

Excellent! Best clamps I've found to hold a bridge in place. I Bought a few and modified them by grinding out a wider slot to reach into those odd sized sound holes.
