Almost prefect
Great for restoration, but the holes from the polepieces should have a winding for the screws and the measurements from polepiecehole to polepiecehole is not perfect. It should be a little bit closer to the original vintage part. All in all it is a very good part. If you can develop this remarks, it will be perfect. thank you.

Excellent Machines - Art & Function in one
As always, great service from Stew Mac. These tuners replaced the (not so great/pretty sloppy) stock tuners on my PRS SE Custom Semi-hollow. HUGE IMPROVEMENT! Aside from being kind of artsy-cool-looking, the Gotoh 510 machines are dead-on accurate and hold tune perfectly. I've used other brands on other guitars - these have become my preferred tuning machine.

pick ups
Golden Age pick-ups are the best. I'm a Epiphone fan and for $120.00 you can make them sound like a $2600.00 Gibson. Now whats wrong with that?

Spray booth in a can!
These aerosol lacquers are excellent. Anyone without access to a full-on spray outfit should consider this a viable alternative for everything from touch-up to complete instrument finishing. Follow the directions on heating the cans for best results.

Learn the technique!
This is a well-made, highly functional version of a tool we have used for years in the shop. The non-stick ends are a considerable upgrade from my home-made examples!
In response to the complaints about ease of use, this is not a do-it-for-you tool. Learning dexterity inside the box is part of getting your brace repair thing together. This tool does an excellent job, once you've acquired the technique of one-handed manipulation in a tight space. It's a big part of the trade!

Incredible
I use this every day in my shop. It's easy to use, doesn't gum up quickly and makes easy work of custom sanding blocks. It works great with the fretboard sanding blocks, and I use it on full-length fretboard levelers. I really don't see how I did without it before.

Tuners
These were EXACTLY what I needed! They were here in record time as well. What a breath of fresh air you folks are in this day and age. I will be using you as my source for any guitar related need I may have in the future and will recommend you to everyone I know. Thank you.

i like it
Installed it on gibson lp custom. Fit like it's supposed to. The gold finish is really nice, instructions suck. Needs lots of common sense to do it right.

good tuners wrong peghole size.
Got'em a couple weeks ago. They seem like good tuners, nice and tight, hold tune well so far so good. The description says you need 13/32 hole, not so, my peghead has 3/8 holes and still does. Had 13/32 drill bit out ready to drill and decided to check first and they fit perfectly. 13/32 bit would not fit peghole 3/8 bit fit fine, so check before you drill.

easy fret
The stew-mac fret wire was as close to perfect as you get. There was very little need for filing. Mostly a little polishing. The guitar plays beautify. Easy fret job !

This is a great product
I ordered a new bone nut for my acoustic and my Telecaster. I improved the action and the tone on both guitars. This is an inexpensive way to improve a budget guitar. Here is a suggestion... Purchase the nut file set with the nut. It makes the job very easy.

Loyal customer for 32 years!
I have used your previous generation Router Base on my instruments. I am impressed always with the quality of your products and I am looking forward to the precision improvements engineered for the new base. This is a sample of my work which I know will be incredibly easier to inlay now with my new base!

The Beam
I've found this tool to be very helpful in clamping down on all the frets after a glue in fret job. It's also great to radius a finger board. I have a 12"R, 20"R and 16"R and plan to get them all.

Golden Age Tele bridge PU.
I put one of these in a Fender Esquire for my daughter, and was really impressed. Compares favorably with the SD Vintage for Broadcaster pu I have in my Telecaster, and at one third of the price! Fantastic value!!

Weld-On Cement, didn't work at all in my case
Tried it with a short strip of binding on a banjo, running from the nut to the 5th-string peg. I applied the cement to the surfaces of the neck and the binding, and then, to secure the binding to the neck, I used a band of inner tube rubber, about 5/8'' wide or so, wrapping it very tight like a bandage, over the neck + the binding strip. I left the bound neck overnight. When I removed the rubber band, just before noon on the other day,the biding came off as if there was no gluing effect at all - as if the cement was just water.
The amount of pressure created by the inner tube rubber band method, is quite enormous. So even if clamps provide even more pressure and should have been the way to go, some gluing effect should have been noticed. But there was none at all.

Perfect
What's not to like? With a little judicious slotting and some eyeballed compensation, I now have a battered old Martin DX1 with the same string spacing at the bridge as my OM-28V.

The best I've found.
This incredibly affordable mic brings the actual sound of my Martin D-18GE to the audience. Without one of these, you might as well accompany yourself on a Les Paul. And from Stewmac, it got here FAST.

Great tuners, wish you buy singles instead of a set....
I bought these to replace some really cheap tuners on an electric ukulele with headstock dimensions similar to an electric guitar. I guess I have a spare for each side now. What are the odds I'll have to actually use one? Wish I could have bought singles. I know it's an oddball situation but any experienced tech knows all about those. Great tuners otherwise.
