I bought this as my first purchase from StewMac; they had the best price I could find online. Shipping was incredibly fast and the jack was exactly what I needed - definitely an upgrade to the poor quality jack included on a USA tele.

The same issues as Alfonso above, almost impossible to fit to four main tuners on Deering Goodtime and definitely impossible on the fifth string tuner. Good quality however so one star.

Have just used the TrueChannel Binding Routing Jig for the first time. Great results far less stress the the previous method I was using, and more importantly better more accurate channels.

Great product. It's slightly heavier but with the cavity route lightly wider it's an even sacrifice for a high quality product. I recently used this product on a Henchmen's Axe Fretless Bass I built. Solid and real easy to install and operate!

I found the Saw and mitre box system to be very strong and durable. I do however think the guide design could be a little better in that the set screws when tightened, push on the brass guides which then in turn move them out of flush or true. This can be remedied by using a metal spacer on the screw side (eliminating the movement when screwing in the set screws and protecting the housing from "set screw wear") . Overall a good system I would recommend if you do a lot of fret board work.

The Medium/Highest fret wire - #155 was used recently on a 1960 Convertible Danelectro neck. I found it easy to use and pre-crowning was a breeze. I do it by hand - with gloves of course - so it was a breeze. I actually like the Jumbo wire better but this is just as superb to work with.

Tests batteries in or out of the guitar or stomp box. What more could you ask for? One thing: a less cryptic read out code. I have to keep the cardboard packaging insert with it to remember how to read it. But then again, I have to look at my drivers license once a week to remember my birth date and how much I supposedly weigh....

Could a magnetic compass accomplish the same thing? Yes! But this is fast, easy to read, rugged and reasonably inexpensive. Small cylindrical size its unobtrusively in my tool pouch. Just the ticket!

This really works! My only complaint is that it is not the most rugged design. Still, it saves a lot of time and works as it should.

The pins that I was using were a bit loose for my preference. These fit perfectly. Nice & snug but not too tight. One thing for sure. Whenever I do a repair or mod, I always find what I need here.

I've tried several varieties of economy tuners and like these the best. They are exactly what the catalog says, good replacements for low-end guitars, where your primary interest is just playability, not restoration. On most older guitars, though, you will need to enlarge the post holes, so once you put these on you can't go back to vintage-style three-on-a-plate replacements.

Tuners require lube, but not too much. This product allows the right amount of lubricant to be applied where it's needed

Read the directions, prepare your guitar the way it says and your guitar will look as good as new if not better. And it is so easy. I will be using it again and again....Thanks StewMac...

I used this template to install two dual-battery boxes into two different guitars. It worked fine, and the battery boxes fit well.

This is good tape in that it does what tape should do: it sticks. I used it to attach router templates, and the templates did not slip.

This is a nice box. I purchased it with the plexi template, so routing and installation was extremely easy. It can be a bear to open, but as I only change batteries every few months, it's not that big of a deal to me.

I used this kind of truss rods in many necks. 10 000 times better than original fender rods, adjusting is piece of cake. Installing even easier. If they are installed properly. Make sure that you read the instructions. At least there are few tips and tricks to ensure proper work and satisfaction !

Worked for a week or so; (non daily use) I may have been using it too harshly, because it blunted out and was useless after about a week. I was only using a small hammer to set the eyelets just to be to be extra careful. (The eyelets don't need much umph to bevel properly)

The material it was made out of seemed very cheap in my opinion.

Going to order a new one today, to see if they are any better now. This has been about six months since my last one died.

I'd rather pay 4 x's as much for one that is solid steel, or iron as long as it will last.

Perfectly planed blank, size is optimal for stratocaser's or similar neck type. Or better to say 25.5" sized scales.
Just like said, ready to go under you band saw and ready to be enjoyed in it !

Perfect drop in replacements for the stock Grovers on my Epiphone Sheraton! Now it stays in tune!

I installed a set of Golden Age Parsons St HBs to upgrade an import Hamer guitar I bought for a backup. Now my backup is my No. 1, replacing a Japanese Yamaha LP style w/Duncan Seth Lover pups (no slouches in the tone dept, either)! The pots are stock 500K with an Orange Drop .022 tone Cap. The best part is that the Hamer with these pups sounds great with all my gear including L6 M13, Boss GT-10, Fender SS 22 and Peavey Windsor Studio amp.

The tone is very balanced, not Bass or Treble heavy, with just enough output to stay very clean during chording. I may get a pair to replace my Seths in the Yamaha, no kidding!

I was thinking how to manage planing of my bound fretboard to an even radius without having to remove the white fretboard edging, and still be able to restore the fretwire-slots to correct depth. I was advised to check this tool out and it was the perfect tool for the job.

I recently received my 16" block and just finalized my first fretboard planing. Perfect result. One very satisfied customer.
