works well
only product on market I know of. some ways to use them would be good. it is an exploratory operation. hindsight suggests taping or bending to fit neck and using 2 or 3 at once with tape.

Good stuff
I like these much better than the witch hat knobs, much more effective and easier to read when adjusting volume and tone. Just be sure to get the correct spline.

Works good
These really look nice, does what it supposed to do. I don't know if they are better than ceramic caps but look a lot better in the circuit, at least gives you the impression they are better. If you think they sound too dark turned down all the way then don't turn it down all the way.

Not bad
I like the brass shafts, smooth feel. The taper seems to me to be more linear than audio though. You can add a resistor equal to half of the pots resistance between the two ungrounded lugs if you want a smoother taper though so no big deal. Well made so still a good rating.

Excellent Replacement Tuners
These tuners are excellent! They were easy to install, didn't require conversion bushings and gave my guitar the "vintage" look I wanted.

StroboPlus HD
I don't know how I did w/o this for so long. I've used many tuners over the years and it was always hit or miss to my ears if I was actually in tune after I was done. With the StroboPlus HD, I am in tune every single time after I am done. Intonation is made much easier too. It makes playing so much more inspired when the chords ring out in perfect pitch. One benefit of this over many tuners, even other Peterson tuners, is the fact that you can hook this up to your PC to update the software, create custom tunings for any instrument, etc. Another nice feature is that you can replace the rechargeable battery when it dies. This is the tuner I have always wanted. Strobe tuning looks different than what you may be used to, but is simple to use. Just tune until the 'wheels' stop spinning. That's it. If the accuracy of the tuners you have used drives you crazy, you'll really love this.

Tuner replacement 36 Martin 0-17
After a long search for suitable replacement tuners for my '36 Martin, and the high cost of available original units, these tuners worked out well. Relocation of one mounting hole and a slight reaming for the bushings was all that was required.

So finally my 70's Gibson woke up after all these years. This really is the solution, these bushings are constructed with decent metal. The guitar has got more resonance, more midrange, more vibrations now.. I knew something was missing!

Worth it
I put off getting one of these for a long time because of the price - tried to make do with a plastic Dremel base. Now I have a repair project that requires some precision routing. This router base is just the ticket. I'm very happy I finally got one of these.
ps.I threw my Dremel router base in the trash, which is right where it belongs.

Nice
0168 fits my Epiphone Les Paul LS100 perfectly using existing bushings inside the body. Shiny dense and heavy. No sharp parts. Together with goth bridge it seems to sound good and perhaps increase sustain.

Fine
1511 fits epiphone les Paul ls100 perfectly using existing bushing inside wood. Nice shiny, dense and heavy. Wider than stock epiphone part. Easy to adjust. Tiny slot on each saddle sometimes doesn't hold the high B and E.

Okay now
Fits Epiphone Les Paul LS100 with no sanding. However slots cut tiny bit low so I put in a thin piece of vinyl as a shim to raise it higher. Anyways it sounds good so far and keeps in tune and perhaps increases sustain.

On my 3rd Grover upgrade.
So far I've replaced the stock tuners on one Breedlove mando and a Collings mandola. The Grovers are excellent, and the 18:1 ratio is really helpful for tuning precision. Beware - if you're picky about aesthetics, the Grovers hang off the bottom of the headstock on both instruments about 2mm. Some might consider that unsightly, I don't really care 'cause they *work* and I'm no longer fighting my tuners. The other visual issue (as mentioned by other reviewers) is the tuning shaft 'stickout'. I happen to like both the look and better access to the key, especially on the Collings with the concave shape of the peghead sides. The only mounting hole to line up on either instrument was the center one. I drilled both for the next pair of holes out from center. Outer holes on both are unused because the stock holes are just far enough out to a)not accept screws properly, and b)not allow enough material beside the existing holes to drill new holes. Works for me, but a 'proper' install is going to require filling and redrilling for the outer screws. Fair warning.

Nice stuff
I asked what kind of bone this was and got immediate response. I used the martin bleached blank to make two fiddle nuts. The endless pursuit of better sound. Definite improvement over ebony. Gets rid of that nasal honky sound. :)

Great product
I restored an old Harmony 1260 using a Tusq saddle, and it really made the guitar come alive. Very well made, easy to file, and there was a noticeable improvement in tone and sustain. The compensated design helped correct intonation problems. The intonation is now spot on.

colour tone
Great product and a little goes a long way, mixes with all finish types which is a great bonus, I like to mix it with water but that's just my personal choice... :)

I've used it many times and it's fine
Reading all of the other reviews I couldn't help but chime in. First of all, it's a sanding sealer, not a top coat lacquer. It's meant to be sanded, that is it's purpose. If you were trying to use it as a stand alone finish, that was your mistake. it is designed to be used with target EM series top coat finishes. If you are finding the product too bumpy, strain it through a paint strainer. I double strain everything I spray. Also check your PSI. I find 40 psi works well on my setup. as for water reaction, it is a waterbase finish. it is meant to be dry sanded and top coated, not wetsanded. If you are seeing cloudy blotches, install a moisture filter inline in your spraying rig. And never spray when the dew point is above 65%. Buy yourself a hygrometer. They're cheap, 10 or 20 bucks. As for color mixing, I've had no issues.
I have used this sealer on at least a half dozen guitars. When used properly it works well.
