Fellow
luthiers,
I want to let you in on something I know you are
going to enjoy: it's the E-mail Newsletter we call Trade
Secrets.

|
|
|
|
|
|
Subscribers
get problem-solving
tips, helpful how-to
articles, and first dibs on exciting new
product releases. Each issue is fun and informative, with closeup photos
of some of the coolest instruments and tricky repair
challenges that come through my shop.
I'm also lucky to have guests like Stewart-MacDonald's
master mandolin builder Don MacRostie, our tech-support
wizard Erick Coleman, and a host of other colleagues
helping me bring this newsletter to you every other
week. You won't be disappointed. So
consider yourself invited! And don't
worry, we won't fill your inbox with a bunch of spam.
Our privacy policy is simple: we keep your e-mail
address private, and don't share it with anyone else.

 | August 6, 2009 I'm always interested in the Trade Secrets Newsletter, but the most recent one was exactly what I needed for a 335 clone (Tune-o-Matic setup: is the trouble with the bridge or the neck angle?) The tip for locating saddle slots by tapping an old string with a brass hammer was especially helpful. Thank you so much! Please let Dan Erlewine how much I appreciate his insights both in the newsletters and in his books. | | | Chip Bassett Richmond, VA | |

 | July 13, 2009 Just wanted to thank Erick Coleman for a very helpful and informative Trade Secrets newsletter article on fretboard chip repairs. His excellent advice was very much appreciated. | | | Haro Kagemoto Oakland, CA | |
