-Great for filing/radius-ing T.O.M. Saddles.
-Works on titanium!!!
-Not much strength needed, only patience, and the cord won't break.
Overall super useful because they work on titanium... :)

There is nothing better to finish the polishing of nut slots in the world... Just enough grit to slowing bring the slot to perfection..

Another must have.

This is the best for smoothing nut slots! I read that some other reviewers have had problems with the cord breaking... The trick is to let the cord do the work for you. There is no need to put too much tension on the cord for it to do it's job!

Great - for different reasons

Like others, I find these pretty useless for polishing nuts and saddle slots, but as I'm a fan of really heavy strings (.070"-.080" on the 6th), I'm often finding that the string holes in tuner posts are just a TOUCH too small. These are the perfect way to open them up a bit, and keep them polished and perfect.

Used this to locate the saddle slots on a Schroeder Stoptail bridge. The entire process took only minutes and the result is spot on and very comfortable feeling.

This cord was exactly what I needed to smooth out a hole in the triangular plate that acts as a top ferule for a string-through-body Dean ZX that I was working on. The metal plate was cheap and the high E string constantly broke where it came out and bent to head towards the bridge. This cord smoothed out the inside of the hole and put a bit of a radius on the lip. It was probably more of a job than this cord is designed for but it was the only thing I could find to do it. Given this harsher job, it didn't last that long and broke a little easily. However, in its more usual applications it holds up well and I highly recommend it. I regret not getting the multi pack with all four of the different diameters. I plan to keep it around the house permanently.
