Terrific Kit.

This made an immense difference in my guitar sound. I have a 95 Korean built epiphone LP. I will say there are some sizing issues with the switch. The threaded portion is not long enough for installation and the opening for the switch in the guitar body was not large enough. Perhaps the short switch would work. I reused the old switch and it doesn't impact the sound enough to matter to a beginner like me. I followed the directions here (http://www.stewmac.com/How-To/Online_Resources/Learn_About_Guitar_Pickups_and_Electronics_and_Wiring/I_wired_this_guitar_but_it_didnt_work_Can_you_fix_it.html) . My experience was that the wire lengths were not long enough. Adding an inch to the pickup connections and 2 inches to the jack connection would have done the trick. Overall this was a great experience and I will probably rewire the guitar again to remove the splices once I get my new pickups and switch.

Well Worth It!

Installed in a Joe Bonamassa LP. Huge jump in quality, especially in the pots and pickup switch. The wiring diagram was a little confusing (I'm no engineer) and working with the vintage style push back wire was frustrating at times, but I'm very satisfied with the results. If you're not a soldering wiz you may want to opt for a more standard (+ & -) wire rather than using the metal braid as a ground. Overall, major upgrade and worth the price tag.
