Soldered in our Athens, Ohio shop
We professionally hand-soldered these harnesses using the best brand-name components for long life and great sound: CTS pots, Orange Drop® caps, Switchcraft™ toggle switch and output jack and cloth push-back wire.

Tested and 100% Guaranteed
Each Golden Age harness comes to you mounted on a reusable plywood template, which is a tool in itself: save it for future wiring jobs. The template holds the components correctly so the finished harness fits neatly into the guitar's wiring cavity.

Some simple soldering is needed to connect the switch and jack after you've threaded the wires through the guitar channels. Pickup lead wires will also need to be soldered to the harness.

5 stars for product, 1 taken off for Epiphone fit

(Customer's Reviews)

These electronics are top notch and the soldering instructions are easy to follow BUT if you are upgrading/repairing a circa 2011 Epiphone Les Paul please note that the holes for the switch and pots will have to be drilled out to a slightly larger size than stock. I have a background in woodworking but for the novice this could be daunting.

Put this in my 2003 Epiphone . Night and day it does sound like new guitar . One problem I had was the switchcraft switch was to tall I needed a short switch for my 2003 Epi Les Paul standard . I am not sure if newer ones are the same , check the height if you are going to put this in an Epiphone guitar.

nice idea

if you have minimal soldering skills just buy all the parts and solder them together yourself. it is a cute packaging idea.

Nicely wired and love the wooden template which makes future wiring jobs a breeze!

Just what the guitar needed

(Customer's Reviews)

I recently installed this harness in a '56 Epi Goldtop Reissue. I added a Bigsby some time ago as well as Stew Mac Roller Bridge and it's one of my favorite instruments. The harness arrived as ordered and went in without any problems. All I can say is WOW!. Stock Epi P-90's woke right up. I was already fond of them, but now they're even better and more responsive. I re-wired the assembly to provide individual volume controls to each pickup in the middle position. The assembly required new knobs which I had in stock. If you're installing this harness in an Asian made instrument, have a reamer handy to open up the holes for the pots as well as replacement knobs. Overall, this was a great upgrade for an already great instrument. I had a couple of questions regarding wiring and color codes. Thanks to customer support at Gibson/Epiphone as well as Stew Mac. The one suggestion I've already made: include which set of wires goes where. RED goes to neck. BLUE goes to bridge. Great product, great service, fair price. Excellent support.
