Same wire used by most vintage pickups builders in a very convenient presentation

this wire did the trick in re-wiring my mexican strat. Extremely easy to use and I like the push back idea because after you solder, you can slide it right back up to the connection making the joints look very neat and clean. As always, Stew Mac delivers great quality products as advertised!

Great stuff

I just did a partial re-wire of my Strat, installing a 3 way switch and blend volume knob for the middle pickup and this stuff was awesome to work with. Like other reviewers said, cloth pushes back out of the way (and doesn't burn with the heat from the soldering iron) and stays where you bend it. And it's pre-tinned so all you have to do is cut, push back the cloth, and solder away. What else could you want? Great stuff, just buy a roll or two and keep it around. It makes re-wiring a joy instead of a pain.

I bought 2 rolls of these, white and black, and now I use them for all my soldering jobs.
Just buy a roll of wire, instead of the 12" wires. You will most likely need it anyway, I know I did.

Love it!

Good push-back wire for guitars or amps. It works the way it should and stays the way you bend it.

I dont use anything else, why would you? So much nicer and easier to work with than plastic coated wire. I even use it on mini switches, even though it is a tight fit.
