Conductive Copper Tape

About This Item

Get rid of buzz and interference in your guitar.
Shield pickups and control cavities with this self-adhesive copper tape.

180" rolls for shielding pickups and control cavities to reduce hum, noise and radio interference. The self-adhesive backing is also conductive, so overlapped seams are electrically continuous. Wrap this tape around pickup coils for additional shielding.

Sold individually or SAVE when you buy the set of all three widths.

Conductive Copper Tape surface accepts solder.

Easy to use and I do recommend the package of 3 otherwise you end up wasting bits and pieces, etc.

P-bass cavities covered with this stuff; grounded by the
pots mounted on the copper tape covered plastic face plate.
No more random hiss and hum...

Excellent product, works as intended

Used this tape on a Stratocaster rebuild. Shielded the entire cavity and part of the pick guard. My only complaint is that there doesn't seem to be a lot of tape on the roll, and can probably only be used for one medium sized job. Other than that, great product, can't wait to hear the lack of hum.

This tape is easy to use and works well at killing the noise in my Strat. It would be nice if it came in a size between 3/4 and 2".

There's not much more that one can say about tape. It was easy to handle and went into my basses without any fuss.

Awesome shield

I have been using the aluminum stuff from the hardware store, but wasn't having luck on a particular bass with the aluminum stuff. So I purchased this copper tape. Sooo easy to solder to and with the conductive adhesive I feel like it is just a much more high quality way to go than the aluminum. Coupled with the Stew Mac conductive Shielding Paint, the worst buzzing guitar is now Dead Silent!!! No kidding!!! My customer is so happy, and so am I to have found this product!

Built a guitar, and needed copper tape for the routed cavities. Came out good.
