Conductive Copper Tape

About This Item

Get rid of buzz and interference in your guitar.
Shield pickups and control cavities with this self-adhesive copper tape.

180" rolls for shielding pickups and control cavities to reduce hum, noise and radio interference. The self-adhesive backing is also conductive, so overlapped seams are electrically continuous. Wrap this tape around pickup coils for additional shielding.

Sold individually or SAVE when you buy the set of all three widths.

Conductive Copper Tape surface accepts solder.

2" copper shielding tape

By
(Customer's Reviews)

I put this inside my P-bass to reduce the noise from our digital IEMs we use on stage.

Installation took some patience but was well worth it. No noise even when I moved the bass right next to my rack in my home studio.

Next project will be my Jazz bass with passive pickups as I have plenty of tape remaining on the spool.

I silenced my Tele buzz. The product is kind of sharp when it wrinkles so be careful.
Thanks guys

Not that hard to do

By
(Customer's Reviews)

This was for my first attempt at building a guitar. I have a beautiful Warmoth Tele body and I had very little trouble putting this stuff in. I made wooden "plugs" in the shape of the cavities but about 1/8 of an inch smaller to wrap the bottom piece of tape around to pre-form them before trying to install them. I recommend getting all three sizes as I did use some of each.

Shhhhhh!

You can really quiet the electronics down by shielding, and this tape does the job. It's pretty sticky, so it will adhere to any finished surface, and even some unfinished ones.

Buzz be Gone!

I bought this copper to take care of a buzz in a new guitar. I watched the video and installed it as shown in the video. Put everything back together. Plays better than ever. No buzz! Well worth the price and effort. Be sure to make overlapping strips maintain continuity.

This conductive copper tape on the backside of the pickguard along with conductive paint in the cavities will make your single coils virtually noise free. Great product have some in the shop at all times.
